OUR TEAM
 

Our team is made up of all Mexican artisans who wish to participate in the goal of expanding their art throughout the world. Our main collaborators are Wixarikas artists better known as Huicholes, who share their incredible and beautiful art that has been inherited from generation to generation, their pieces are handmade from Mexico to the world.

JOSE   LUIS   GONZALEZ   S.

A young man from Guadalajara graduated from the UMG in International bussisnes.

With a great love for the art, crafts and culture of his country.

He was learning the art techniques Wixarika and realized that Mexican artisans do not receive the recognition and support that they deserve in their country, so he started a project with his friend from the University Miguel Flores to support Mexican artists and artisans , giving real value to the handmade, positioning the art and culture of Mexico around the world.

 

 

MIGUEL    FLORES

With a strong desire of doing something positive for the world and his love for ancient cultures and universal knowledge, he teamed up with his college friend Jose Luis “Pepe” Gonzalez as they were both in International Businesses school at Universidad Marista de Guadalajara. Eagered to put his grain of sand he started learning about ancient art and its meaning among Mexico’s ancient folklore wishing to share Mexico Sagrado’s vision of giving relevance to heartmade art and the spirit of a timeless legacy of artist

 

He currently teaches courses and workshops on the ancient arts of:

- waist loom.

- gluing of beads

- weaving of beads

 He is part of the Casa Huichol A.C. where support is given to the Wixarika community through a shelter, support in the sale and distribution of their art ... thanks to artisans like tutuu we will be able to take our artistic culture to its maximum splendor, recognizing their work, taking it to the world with courage and recognition it deserves

 

 

JOB JOSUE GARCÍA SOLÍS

ARTESANOS

CASA HUICHOL A.C

Our main collaborators are not only Huichols, they are Huichols who are in more vulnerable situations and need the sustainability of their art to have better life opportunities.

At Casa Huichol AC there are artisans of all ages who, through the support provided by the foundation, have a better quality of life, although much work is needed so that they can have a decent life, which is why we see ourselves in the task of marketing their art around the world to multiply the opportunities that they themselves generate with their work and effort.

ZEA MARINA

At Casa Huichol she is the Coordinator of the Participatory Art Workshop and Wixárica crafts where it is in charge of traditional art projects, as well as of its diffusion and sale, at the same time that it performs the function of Assistant Director of the Civil Association.

Graduated in Biology from the University of Guadalajara, she specialized in the cultivation of medicinal, aromatic and vegetable plants.

She is currently a member of the Lunar Collective Circle of Creative Women in various areas and disciplines, proposing a platform that seeks strengthen ties between women through art, forming a fabric that serves as a support network, complement and knowledge exchange.
