In 2017 I participate in the “Natural Gynecology and Self-management ”in collaboration with the Sembradoras collective, a outreach and female empowerment through knowledge sharing and tools for self-care in an organic and natural way.
She is currently a member of the Lunar Collective Circle of Creative Women in
various areas and disciplines, proposing a platform that seeks strengthen ties between women through art, forming a fabric that serves as a support network, complement and knowledge exchange.

as its own brand of natural products for hygiene and personal care: "Muyuani Metzeri".
At Casa Huichol she is the Coordinator of the Participatory Art Workshop and Wixárica crafts where it is in charge of traditional art projects, as well as of its diffusion and sale, at the same time that it performs the function of Assistant Director of the Civil Association.
HISTORY IN CASA HUICHOL

I arrived at Casa Huichol in May 2017 on the recommendation of a friend of the lunar collective (Carolina) who held the position of coordinator of the Participatory Workshop of Arts and Crafts Wixarica but who could no longer continue because she was going to travel.
The director Rocio Echevarria received me with good references from her daughter-in-law Carmín, friend and member of the lunar collective as well.
All of them thought of me for the job because they knew of my knowledge and taste for jewelry with beads and as an impulse to develop my weaving technique.

At the beginning it was a bit difficult for me to adapt especially to the character of Mrs. Rocio Echevarria who, being a person already of the 3rd age, has very traditional and moralistic ideas and I have always been quite rebellious, but we managed to overcome our differences and we took great love quickly; at the same time that it took the entire CASA HUICHOL project. My responsibilities have been increasing since then and every time I am more involved in all aspects that support and strengthen the health of the wixarica patients, the development and preservation of traditional art techniques and the management of resources for the shelter and its beneficiaries.

In November 2017 I met Job Tutuu, I showed him my work at CASA HUICHOL and he was excited to be part of the team. I started classes with him where he greatly refined my beaded jewelry technique, and at the same time I introduced him as a master craftsman to create prototypes and samples for the CASA HUICHOL Crafts Workshop. Currently I am already a member of the council that institutionalizes the association and the assistant director (of Mrs. Rocio) and together we look for strategies so that the ASSOCIATION FOR RESEARCH, TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE WIXARICA A.C. continue to grow and support the wixarica people.
